My husband Eric and I purchased this old Amish farm in 2000. We had to install all the plumbing
and electricity and are still updating. We thought the Ridgebacks would like it, and they do. They
have over 100 acres on which to roam and hunt (supervised of course!). As of this date, the Ridgebacks share our
farm with 2 English Pointers, 3 German Shorthaired Pointers and an orange Tabby cat. As a general rule, they
all get along quite well, as long as the cat doesn't run. He's learning!
We operate a commercial
hunting reserve here also, Scattergun Reserve. We hunt upland game birds, deer and turkey. July of 2002 saw the
beginning of construction of our 1800 sq. ft. lodge. It sleeps 12 plus, with a full kitchen, 2 full baths and a stone
fireplace. If you would like to plan a visit to see our Ridgebacks and are coming from quite a distance, please consider
staying in the lodge. Our rates are very reasonable. Indoor/outdoor kennels are next on the agenda.
